MECSPE‘s return to Bari takes place under the theme of innovation. In a region that has a cluster dedicated to aeronautics, high-tech industries and research centers such as the Politecnico di Bari and CETMA, the PIAZZA DELL’INNOVAZIONE PER LA TRANSIZIONE ENERGETICA finds its natural location within MECSPE, Italy’s leading technology fair for the industry.

The Square is a demonstration and dissemination area that aims to bring a concrete and cross-cutting innovation contribution for the manufacturing industry. In this area, exhibitors and companies sponsoring the fair will be able to present their solutions and proposals dedicated to topics such as environmental protection, emissions reduction, new manufacturing technologies and innovative products.
It will be possible to both exhibit products and present their best practices through daily technical talks in the speech area of the Piazza.
The Square, within MECSPE, is a very important platform for networking, supporting the industry with new proposals, particularly in the mobility, marine and aerospace markets.

INNOVATIVE MATERIALS
Across all industries, there is a growing demand for environmentally friendly technologies and materials. To address this trend at MECSPE BARI 2023, we have created the Innovation Square, with a dedicated area to showcase next-generation innovations and materials. This initiative focuses on evaluating and highlighting technologies that improve efficiency, reliability, and sustainability.
The Square aims to be a catalyst for recognizing companies that have truly unique ideas and innovations, giving them a platform to present and expose their solutions to important industry players.
The use of innovative materials is essential to reduce the weight of products and thus save energy, going to be a focal element in the energy transition process.
And from the perspective of Sustainability and Recycling: reuse technologies, renewable energy, naturally derived fibers and resins, hybrid composites.
